Filling Thanksgiving tables
Each year, Thielen Foundation partners with Salvation Army to distribute thousands of Thanksgiving turkeys to Minnesota families in need. Generously supported by Hormel Foods and Jennie-O Turkey Store, this event ensures families across the Twin Cities can gather around a full table.
The turkeys are distributed through Salvation Army service centers across the metro - Brooklyn Park, Maplewood, North Minneapolis, Northeast Minneapolis, South Minneapolis, St. Paul Eastside, and St. Paul West 7th. This partnership has grown year over year with 2,000 turkeys distributed in recent years.
